Holiday Mindset for Less Stress and More Joy
So we’re approaching another holiday season, and this year, things really are going to look a little different. Traditions, gatherings, parties – it will all need to be tweaked a bit, and that’s not necessarily a bad thing. In fact, I would be willing to bet that the majority of the usual stress at this time of year is amplified with the need to make things “the same as always”. The expectation that each holiday has to live up to or exceed last year’s celebration is quite un-realistic if not impossible, especially this year.
Of course, there will be certain sacrifices that should be made, like no large gatherings for school plays and religious services, but that doesn’t mean that the holidays can’t be just as special this year. It might even make things more cherished, if you adjust your plans and attitude now.
What if this year, you were able to approach the holidays with a different mindset? Without the rushing, the stress and the guilt? What if you could adapt to the current situation without feeling like you’ve missed out or disappointed everyone? What would a truly meaningful holiday look like?
Join me live on November 11th at 10am (mountain time) to find out how you can adopt a new holiday mindset and have the best holiday season, no matter what.
In the session we will:
– determine your real purpose for celebrating
– discuss ways to manage expectations
– learn tactics to prioritize your wellbeing
– refocus on the true meaning of the holiday season
Once you take control of how you approach the next few weeks, you will be able to handle whatever the season brings. You might even let yourself relax a bit and really enjoy all the little pleasures of this time of year, rather than being a grumpy grinch. Sounds nice, huh?
